WELCOME
Welcome back everyone! As we begin a new year, each of Southeastern’s Centers are taking the opportunity to re-introduce ourselves. Specifically, we want to make sure you all, pastors especially, know who we are, what we do, and what resources you can find here.
WHO WE ARE
The Center for Preaching and Pastoral Leadership exists to equip and encourage pastors to lead healthy, disciple-making churches for the glory of God around the world. The Center represents an intentional bridge between the seminary and the local church.
WHAT WE DO
At Southeastern, we believe leadership and ministry skills development are responsibilities of discipleship and thus should be an intentional part of every local church ministry. Through the Center for Preaching and Pastoral Leadership, we offer assistance, resources, and training to our students, as well as to pastors and churches, to further equip them to serve well in the crucible of real life ministry.
HOW WE ACCOMPLISH THIS
The Center for Preaching and Pastoral Leadership seeks to provide leadership training, continuing education, and support to current and potential church leaders by:
Hosting live events dealing with specific ministry issues featuring experts in the field
Providing content on various topics relating to preaching and pastoral ministry on our blog
Developing free digital resources concerning critical ministry tasks and questions
Creating and compiling current church leadership, preaching, and revitalization resources and strategies
WHERE YOU CAN FIND US
The Center for Preaching and Pastoral Leadership is located on the second floor of Patterson Hall on the main campus at Southeastern. You can find our director and staff in their offices, the classroom, and participating in events across campus. We look forward to getting to know you and serving you in whatever way we can!
